Solid Route Accounting™ for QuickBooks®
Inventory Review: Added Inventory Review screens in Sales Pro for users of QuickBooks® multi-warehouse to review the inventory on hand. Select [Day Trip End / Inventory Review / HH Inventory] to see what inventory is still on hand for this particular handheld. If your handheld is enabled for the pre-sell option, you have the ability to view the pre-sell inventory loaded onto your handheld by taping on [Day Trip End / Inventory Review / Pre-Sell Inventory].
Reloading Price Lists: The user can now choose to reload the price list to the handheld at every sync session or only on Friday’s. In Solid Mobile Central™ go to [Mobile / Configuration] to change this option.
Program Issues Corrected:
Solid Sales Pro™
All Integration Editions:
- Issue where changes to the barcode scanner and printer settings would affect each other on the 4400 Printing and 4500 Scanning Options screens.
- Improved start-up time of Solid Sales Pro™.
- Issue where item data on transactions came in partially corrupt.
Solid Mobile Central™
All Integration Editions:
- The issue of the "access denied" error during the re-indexing and upgrading.
- Fixed a grid sorting problem on the Sales screen.
For QuickBooks®:
- Allowed the user the option to map the custom field names in QuickBooks® for "BarCode" and "RouteGroup".
Solid Fusion™
For QuickBooks®:
- Improved the handling of blank bill records.
- Improved the handling of missing customers or parts, for example when customers and/or parts were deleted from QuickBooks®.
Solid MultiConnect™
All Integration Editions:
- Issue of "ERROR#52 No table is open in the current work area. Method:itmupd Line:178 Called From:TNSSAV".
- Issue of "Error file ...\mob\002\in\xxx.dbf does not exist".
- Issue of "ERROR#1705 File access is denied c:\gmdata\10\fp-gmfull\mob\002\in\5t0pinqf.dbf. Method:itmupd Line:182 Called From:TNSSAV".
Backup Before you Begin!
It is sound business and computing practice to perform a FULL backup prior to beginning any installation or upgrade procedure.
- Exit from the Solid Mobile Central, Solid Fusion and Solid MultiConnect programs from all workstations.
- At the Server, enter the Solid Mobile Central program and select menu path [Backup] and proceed with the on screen instructions.
Installation Procedures
Solid Route Accounting™ - Integration Edition 11.01.08 is available for downloading from the Solid Innovation website. A DSL or Cable high speed Internet connection is recommended for downloading. If you do not have an Internet connection or are using a Dialup Internet service, please contact Solid Client Services for assistance.
- Synchronize all mobile units to ensure that all transaction information has been submitted to the main accounting system.
- Exit from Solid Mobile Central, Solid Fusion and Solid MultiConnect at all workstations.
- Create a current backup of the Solid Route Accounting system by starting Solid Mobile Central and clicking on the [Backup] menu option.
- Click here to get to Solid Route Accounting - Integration Edition version 11 download page. Click on the [Download] button. Select [Save] and store the installer to a hard drive location on your computer (e.g. C:\Si\). Locate and double-click on the SolidRouteAccounting11-IE-110108.exe file to begin the installation wizard.
- Follow the prompts on the screen clicking the [Next] button to continue.
- When presented with the program license agreement, read through it and if you agree to the terms, click on [I Agree] then click [Next] to continue.
- When presented with the 'Select Installation Folder', enter the appropriate drive and folder location to install the program to (default C:\Si). Click on the [Browse...] button if it is necessary to change the installation folder then click on [Next] to continue.
- Click on [Next] to confirm and begin the installation process.
- Once all updated program files have been installed, you will be prompted to enter your software product key. Enter your software product key as supplied with your original purchase, then click on [Next].
NOTE: if you are upgrading from Solid Route Accounting 9, the system should recall your software product key. If you are upgrading from Solid Route Accounting 2007 or earlier, please contact the Solid Client Services team for assistance.
- Once activation has completed and the “Done” message displays, click on [Close].
- If you are prompted to run the [System/Upgrade] procedures, click on [Yes] to continue.
- When the installation is complete, the 'Installation Complete' window should pop up. Click [Close].
- Start Solid Mobile Central and perform any upgrade procedures if prompted.
- Start Solid Fusion and perform an up to date data exchange with the main accounting system.
- Start Solid MultiConnect and synchronize all mobile units.
