New Standard Features:

Default Special Price: when adding items to a special price list, the default Special Price is now the wholesale/dealer price instead of being zero. This allows for quicker price entry and adjustments.

Barcodes Printed on Special Price Lists: now product barcodes are printed along with inventory items on Special Price Lists.

Pre-sell Enhancement: orders generated on the handheld, that have been imported into Business Central for processing are automatically re-assigned to the handheld that generated them. This avoids the user of trying to remember which handheld the order was generated on. However, the user can change the handheld number, should the order be sent out to another handheld.

Commission Rates on Employee Assignment Browse:  When browsing employee assignments using the menu path [Datafile / Employee / Commission / Assignment / Employee / F10] now displays the rates on this screen.

Do Not Sell Below Cost: this feature, if enabled, will prevent a route salesperson to sell items below cost. This feature can be enabled on a per mobile basis in Solid Business Central™ in [Datafile / Cost Cntr / Mobile]. Set the field “Low gross warning” to either I - ignore, W - warn or N - not allowed.

Item ID on Inventory Details Screen: the 1132 Inventory Detail screen now displays the Item ID along with the item details.

Close Cash-out Report enhancements:

  • The customer name is now printed on the Close Cash-out Report.
  • Subtotals and taxes are now printed in addition to the total on the Close Cash-out Report.

Program Issues Corrected:

Solid Business Central™

  1. Issue on the Employee screen where the Province / State and Postal / ZIP code were not correctly displayed according to the Language Setting.
  2. Issue when printing statements for customers that have the ‘Bill To’ field set to ‘B’ for branch are being included in the head office statement instead of the branch’s statement.

Solid Sales Pro™

  1. Issue where zero value invoices print as ‘5e-1’ instead of ‘0’ on the on the close cash-out report.
  2. Issue where the company name is not centred properly and wraps to the next line.

  • Printer Configuration - improved the printer configuration in the General Ledger of Solid Business Central™.

  1. Issue of “ERROR#52 No table is open in the current work area. Method:itmupd Line:178 Called From:TNSSAV”.
  2. Issue of “Error file ...\mob\002\in\random.dbf does not exist”.
  3. Issue of “ERROR#1705 File access is denied c:\gmdata\10\fp-gmfull\mob\002\in\5t0pinqf.dbf. Method:itmupd Line:182 Called From:TNSSAV”.

  1. Improved the subsequent loading time of the 1131 Add Items screen.

Note: the first time this screen is loaded after a hot sync the loading may still be slow, but any subsequent access to the 1131 screen will be faster.

Notice of Discontinued Features

Linked Parts: Support for Linked Parts has been removed from Solid Sales Pro™ due to resource limitations on mobile systems, which are out of Solid's control. Linked Parts will continue to be a supported feature in Solid Business Central™, just not extended to Solid Sales Pro™ operations.

Solid Sales Pro™

  1. Issue with Approved Product Lists (APL) where incomplete searches would occur when duplicate product Descriptions where present in the APL, has been corrected.
  2. Issue with searching Approved Product Lists (APL) using the alphabetic drop down list or the search box and where the first item does not match the APL, has now been corrected.
  3. Issue where a “Printer Already Open” error message appears when printing Cash-out reports to an 8.5x11 inch Bluetooth printer, has been corrected
  4. The issue where product returns were not updating the quantity tables correctly.

Solid MultiConnect™

  1. Issue where "Idle Timeout" would occur on Windows Mobile connect sessions while "Business Logic" was running causing the sync session to disconnect early, has been corrected.
  2. The issue where corrupt signatures would cause an early disconnected session.
  3. Prevented the importing of duplicate Open Orders.

Program Issues Corrected:

Solid Business Central™

  1. Issue where closed Delivery Confirmation invoices are being incorrectly cycled back out to Solid Sales Pro™ if the closed order was sent back to Solid Route Accounting™ while the [Sales / Pre-Sell] marking screen was open has been corrected.
  2. The issue where the handling of a rollup record in the last position on the Sales screen was not treated correctly.
  3. The issue where the system did not treat temp filenames correctly if they started with a number.
  4. Improved the handling of the stock item counts (QCI).

Solid Sales Pro™

  1. Prevent adding more than 999 items to a single transaction.
  2. Restrict maximum line item discount.
  3. Issue where the last item added is not highlighted when entering 1131 Add Items screen while in 'Description' order has been corrected.
  4. Issue where Approved Product Lists were not displaying correctly on the 1131 Add Items screen has been corrected.
  5. Hide history button by default.
  6. Issue on the 1133, 1134 and 1135 screen where the cursor positions to the left of the quantity value has been corrected. Upon arriving at each of these screens, the program will now highlight the whole quantity field value allowing you to quickly change the quantity value if required.
  7. Issue where the Core Charges (Deposits) & Multiple Tax totals are printing too far to the right on invoice style I8 has been corrected.
  8. Issue where the “Transfer from” field is printing ‘NO’ rather than the mobile unit number when printing an Outgoing Stock Transfer has been corrected.
  9. Issue where the cursor defaults to the 'Lot #' field instead of the 'Present Count' field on the 2311 Inventory Details screen during the creation of an inventory count has been corrected.
  10. Issue with incorrect inventory adjustments taking place when processing Inventory Counts, has been corrected.

 

Release 10.03.06

New Standard Features:

Opticon Barcode Scanner Extension: A new Opticon Barcode Scanner extension for Windows Mobile has been added to ensure that scanning is only applicable to specific fields. This change offers more control and efficiencies to the Solid Sales Pro™ scanning functionality, that the native Opticon scanner driver was not able to provide.

Program Issues Corrected:

Solid Sales Pro™

  1. Fixed a bug where Credit Memo was defaulting to cash instead of charge as it should.
  2. Fixed a bug where if prevent selling below zero is enabled, it always fires on the 1134 Order Details screen and reports erroneous warning message, but only if RIT_INVXREF is on.
  3. Fixed the “Quantity cannot be zero” bug that happens after clicking [OK] on 1133 and then scanning a barcode or after printing.
  4. Fixed a bug where it is difficult to edit the discount % field on the 1133 Order Details screen, because the focus keeps changing back to the QTY field.
  5. Prevented the user from entering a negative quantity (QTY) values on screen 2214 Transfer Details screen.
  6. Added a barcode scanner [Reset] option to the 4500 Scanning Options screen.

Solid MultiConnect™

  1. Fixed a bug where MultiConnect sometimes throws a series of errors when starting up after any mobile unit record is modified and save in Solid Mobile Central™.

 

Release 10.03.05

New Standard Features:

Report Enhancements for Multiple Taxes: A new Tax Summary section has been added to the daily Cash Out report and the Bill Analysis report for reporting on Multiple Taxes.

Program Issues Corrected:

Solid Business Central™

  1. Multiple Tax print issues on W2 invoice style have been corrected.
  2. Various improvements to the Multiple Tax system.
  3. Fixed unit tracking on Sales screen.
  4. Fixed a bug where if you go back up to the top of the Sales screen and go past the customer again, the tax system is changed.

Solid Sales Pro™

  1. Alignment issues on daily Cash Out report have been corrected.
  2. Fixed a bug where you would get the error “Printer is already open” when printing the Cash Out report.
