Solid Route Accounting Hardware Specifications/Recommendations

Server/Administrative System:

Intel® Pentium® or AMD® 500 MHz processor or better.
Microsoft Windows® XP Professional with Service Pack 2, Windows Server® 2003/8 with all recommended updates, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7.
- NOTE for Solid Route Accounting - Enterprise Edition users:
  Windows XP and Windows Vista computers must use a 32-bit Operating System (OS). Windows 7 users can use a 32-bit OS, or a 64-bit OS on a computer that can support Windows XP Mode. For further information on Windows XP Mode, please read Article#182: Windows XP Mode Guide for Installing Enterprise Edition on Windows 7 64-bit Operating Systems (OS).
- NOTE: For larger LANs with 4 or more workstations stations and larger amounts of history, we recommend Microsoft Windows Terminal Server edition. When used, ensure each workstation accesses the server via the Terminal Services system.

512 Mb of RAM or higher. Depending on number of users and workstations, more RAM can be helpful.
At least 2GB of available hard-disk space.
1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
Wifi Router with port forwarding capabilities for external Wifi connections. Local USB and COM communications are also supported.
UPS battery backup.
Some features may require Microsoft Active Sync 4.1 (XP), Microsoft Mobile Device Center (Vista), Palm Desktop 4.1
