Error Message: User ID doesn't exist!
Program and Version: Si MultiConnect
Menu Path:  
Symptom: Synchronizinga handheld device causes Si MultiConnect to immediately disconnect and issues the error message "User ID doesn't exist!" in the Si MultiConnect event log.
Resolution:

Si MultiConnect validates each handheld device by it's ID number. This is to prevent unauthorized access to your data. If this error occurs with a valid handheld device you must reset the ID number as follows:

1. Start Si Mobile Central
2, Select the Mobile Unit you wish to reset the ID on.
3. Click on the 'Reinitialize' button.
4. Start Si MultiConnect
5. Synchronize the handheld device.

If the handheld device memory has been lost or has been hard reset:
1. The 'Assign a User ID' screen will appear during Synchronizing.
2. Select the appropriate mobile unit from the list provided.
