The scanned barcode value is either missing or incorrect.
To make use of the efficiencies of barcode scanning,
you must setup a custom data field for your inventory
items in QuickBooks:
STEP 1: Setup and enter the custom barcode field in
QuickBooks
1. Open your Quickbooks Company file.
2. Double click on an inventory item.
3. Click on the <Custom Fields> button.
4. If there is already a custom BarCode field skip to
step 8.
5. Click on <Define Fields>.
6. Type in "BarCode" without the quotes and
keeping it case sensitive.
7. Click the Use box on the same line as the "BarCode"
and click Ok.
8. Enter the respective Barcode number as they appear
on the item including the leading and trailing digits.
9. Open Solid Fusion™ and click on RUN.
STEP 2: Reload the price lists to each mobile unit.
1. Open Solid Mobile Central™
2. Click on Mobile
3. Click on Configuration
4. Click on the box for Reload Price List. A check mark
will appear.
5. Click on Apply.
6. Open Solid MultiConnect™.
7. HotSync the mobile handheld device.
