Message: "The Connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."
Program and Version: Solid MultiConnect™
Menu Path:  
Symptom: HotSync session on the handheld device ends and issues the error message on screen. This could result in missing program files or data.
Resolution:

Solid MultiConnect™ is the software that communicates between Solid Sales Pro and your computer. Here are few things to check if your last HotSync session was unsuccessful.

1. Is Solid MultiConnect™ running?
2. In the Current Connections window of Solid MultiConnect™ does the respective port state that it is "Open"? If it is closed, you have either selected and invalid port options or another program may have that port open.
3. Check all cables to ensure that all connections are secure and connected properly.
4. Click on the "Details>>" button on Solid MultiConnect™ to view the current Events Log.
