Warehouse Management & Purchasing gone Wireless
For 2006, Solid Innovation takes product purchases to the next level. Mobile operators will now be able to create and received purchase orders using Solid Sales Pro™'s new Buying and Scan to Receive feature. New Purchase Orders can be created and existing purchase orders received using the power of barcode scanning. Product being received can be scanned for verification and the purchase order saved as a quantity receipt.
In addition to purchasing and receiving, the Si Scan to Pick feature allows warehouse personnel to quickly access, pick, pack and ship customer orders. Taking advantage of the integrated barcode scanners and the new Si Quick Connect feature, warehouse personnel are able to quickly traverse through the warehouse guided by shelf location or product code, scanning each item to validate and confirm the order. Items may be under-picked, over-picked and even substituted should there be no specific product available.
Once all items have been picked, the warehouse personnel re-saves the "Picked" order and synchronizes the order back to the Solid Business Central™ system. During the same connect session the next order in line is automatically sent to the handheld device.
Back at the Solid Business Central™ program, "Picked" orders can be verified, finalized and printed for shipment.
Warehouse Managers, Shippers and Receivers... these are must have tools.

CEO's Message
S. Craig Fisher
Our clients do a great deal of business through our system. Distributors annually move an estimated 800,000 transactions representing over $150 million in sales through our Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition™ business system. In the course of this business, our clients move over 80 million pieces of product annually while serving their 65,000 stores.
Clearly, we have a responsibility to ensure our clients run smoothly ... a challenge that we enjoy and take quite seriously! You can count on us to be there for you.
Your feedback indicates we are doing the job. For example, over 95% of support calls are handled immediately. Surprisingly, we have not added 24/7 support and you, our clients have not been asking for this service. We understand this to mean that we are accomplishing a very important service by providing you with a reliable, easy to use system that needs very little support.
We believe one of the most important services to you is our support team, so we have added a new team member here. Elsewhere, you can see an article on one of our newest staff members, Nancy Sagardia. Nancy has proven herself as a thoughtful, sincere support person who works hard to ensure new clients are properly trained while existing clients receive timely, value-added support.
Enclosed is a short questionnaire, for our clients. Please review each area and return to help guide us in future development priorities.
From a development perspective, we continue our work. The principle new area our warehouse operations section, tightly integrated with Solid Business Central™, and including wireless mobile picking, buying, and receiving systems. Smaller features have also been added. Look for our new Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition 2006 version coming soon.
Work is also well underway on our new Windows version. It retains all of the present speed and efficiency of it's present keyboard operations while adding full mouse compatibility.
Thank you to all of our clients. We enjoy working with you.
