Solid Innovation becomes a Microsoft ISV Partner

In moving forward with our Windows version Solid Innovation is now a registered Microsoft ISV partner. In July of this year, we received a special invitation from Steve Balmer, CEO of Microsoft to attend their World Wide Partners Conference in Minneapolis, MN.

What a fantastic gathering of software minds and ideas! In an energetic and inspiring presentation, Mr. Balmer outlined Microsoft's desire and commitment to partner with companies and products with a renewed focus on reliability, security and inter-operability.

All of this is very encouraging as we move towards our Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition Windows Edition.

Sales: Goal Planning

2005 is quickly drawing to a close and its time to review those sales goals you set at the beginning of this year. If you are not satisfied with your progress, here are a few tips to help you rewrite and catch up before the year is up:

  • Write down your goals and divide them into manageable daily tasks
  • Create and place symbols representing these goals to constantly remind you of them
  • Review your tasks at the end of each day, and see if you can improve your process and perform better to achieve the goals. If it helps, document your process.

Expert psychologists say that salespersons who plan and set long-term goals have higher self-confidence, higher self-esteem, and greater personal motivation than their counterparts who have not made goal-setting a part of their career.
