Si Warehouse Pro

For 2006, Solid Innovation takes product purchases and warehouse management to the next level. Mobile operators will now be able to create and receive purchase orders using Si Sales Pro's new Buying and Scan to Receive feature. New Purchase Orders can be created and existing purchase orders received using the power of barcode scanning. Product being received can be scanned for verification and the purchase order saved as a quantity receipt. Some of the new features will include:

• Create a purchase order using the Si Sales Pro application.
• Receive incoming product using the power of Barcode Scanning and Si Scan to Receive.
• Create new inventory items on the fly should the supplier send you a surprise.
• Scan to Pick customer orders.

In classic Si style, we have taken steps to ensure that the learning curve is minimal. Here's a peek at some of the new screens for Si Warehouse Pro:

How do you separate product that is being returned into damaged or re-sellable product?

The Si Returned Goods feature allows mobile unit operators to indicate whether product that is being returned for credit is to be added back into inventory as "Re-sellable" product or marked as "Damaged" in which case it will not be added back into the mobile inventory. Mobile configuration settings have been added and you can even set the default setting for each Mobile Unit.

At the end of the day, a Damaged Stock Report will print along with the mobile daily cash-out report. Upon finalizing the daily cash-out, a stock transfer transaction will automatically be produced that will transfer all returned product marked as "Damaged" or "Expired" to an alternate Damaged Goods cost center or warehouse. This can then be reviewed at the administrative level and, if necessary, written off.
