Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition 2007 General Release
The Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition 2007 version has been released and we look forward to a profitable year for our clients. Here’s a peek at just a few of the new 2007 features:
Multiple Tax Jurisdiction
The Si Multiple Taxes feature expands the current two tiered tax system allowing you to create multiple tax levels. Specific tax rates can be grouped together and then assigned to Customer, Supplier and Inventory records to form a comprehensive system of taxable and non-taxable combinations.
Auto Stock Transfers
The auto buying procedures have been expanded to allow for automatic stock transfers for delivery confirmation. By assessing the sales orders that have been assigned to but not yet checked out by the mobile unit, Solid Business Central™ will automatically assemble and recommend a stock transfer using the F4-Make function key from the Buying Service Menu.
Data Purge on Transaction History
Solid Business Central™ now has the ability to purge your current transaction history. This procedure will assess your transactions based on a purge date you specify, report any open or unpaid transactions and then guide you through the removal of transaction history. Purging data can improve the time it takes to produce certain reports and the time it takes to perform system maintenance functions such as backups and re-index processes.

Microsoft Certification Earned
Our mission at Solid Innovation is to ensure you have a reliable, well integrated business system. As part of this mission, we have now earned Microsoft Certified Partner designation for ISV/Software Solutions. In order to earn the coveted Microsoft Certified Partner designation we elected to submit our Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition. It would have to pass several steps to achieve this status.
The first step is the most rigorous in terms of the need for accuracy. In this step, product together with a list of standard operations our clients would use, is submitted to the independent testing laboratory Veritest. In this step, Solid Route Accounting™ - Enterprise Edition, together with all of it’s components, must install and un-install correctly on a Windows computer. It must load up demo information, and the user must be able to perform the list of operations without error. Finally, the system must handle Windows and Windows memory correctly. We were thrilled when it passed on the first try!
The next requirement was to submit several client references which would be independently verified by Microsoft. Initially we felt this would be no problem. Indeed, we had an excellent response from our clients when we asked for their support. However, there was a small snag … Microsoft is reluctant to accept certain types of email addresses for verification. Never-the-less, enough clients had acceptable email addresses and we passed!
A few formalities later and Solid Innovation is now a Microsoft Certified Partner with an ISV/Software Solutions competency. And many thanks to you, our clients, for helping us along on this road. In fact, we are here to ensure you receive the quality you need to run your business.
