Several new partnerships are now taking root with more on the way. First up is Systems Dynamics Corp (www.SDC.ca) of Toronto. SDC provides an admirable, Oracle based ERP system. They required a solid route accounting system to extend their ERP system into DSD operations, warehouse picking and receiving, and materials handling. As a result of this, Solid Route Accounting is now operating in an expanding manufacturer in Toronto, a large milk products distributor in Guyana, and an international sunglass distributor in the US.

Tip #1: Video Tutorials
Over the past year the Solid Client Services team has been working hard on producing on-line training tutorials that assist you with understanding, setting up and optimizing your Solid Route Accounting system. These tutorials are also great tools for training new staff members when they come on board. Plus, these tutorials are available 24/7, anywhere you have an internet connection and can be viewed when your schedule allows. To view Solid Video Tutorials, click here.
Tip #2: Approved Product Lists (APL)
Approved Products Lists (APL) have been added to Solid Route Accounting Special Price Lists to allow you to designate a special price list as an Approved Product List. APL will allow you to specify and “Limit” the products being sold to a customer or group of customers. In addition to restricting the list of products sold, you may also optionally allow or disallow for override capabilities on a per APL or per Mobile Unit basis. Click here for more information.
Tip #3: Rechargeable Battery Cycle Life and Aging
Our Solid Technical Support team is often being approached with reports of mobile handheld devices periodically shutting down, rebooting itself and on rare occasions losing data from the device. We have learned that although we would like to think that rechargeable batteries will last forever, this is not reality and often poor or failing batteries can be attributed to erratic performance on mobile devices. New to our team of specialists is Nicole Gryba. Nicole recently received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Marketing. When Nicole's not mapping out her creativity on the whiteboard, she enjoys her spare time as a figure skater. Nicole has skated on the ice since the age of four and looks forward to contributing her artistic talents to the Solid team.
