solution for wholesale distributors
Extended capabilities result in renaming
flagship product to ProfitPoint
DANVERS, MA, February 25, 2003, TurningPoint Systems, Inc.,

industries, today announced the release of its route accounting
solution for wholesale distributors. Developed through a partnership
with Solid Innovation®, Inc. of Prince Albert, Canada, a developer
of mobile invoicing and inventory control solutions, Route
Accounting disseminates real-time inventory and financial
information, enabling route salesmen to more effectively manage
route sales, delivery, and the settlement processes while
on the road. TurningPoint also announced that it is changing
the name of its flagship product, DisTrack, to ProfitPoint,
a move designed to reflect the companys growth beyond
traditional warehouse tracking to a broader focus on operational
profitability within the supply chain.
Route Accounting from TurningPoint provides the software,
technology, and integration services required for the wholesale
distributor to streamline its route distribution process.
By leveraging real-time inventory and accounting data, TurningPoint
provides distributors with the information they need to be
well informed for on-site customer visits. Through the complete
integration of invoicing and warehouse management functions,
Route Accounting allows route salesmen to maintain mobile
inventory, print invoices on-site, and more accurately record
transactions as they happen.
