Si Mobile Central is a communications manager software package that handles the movement of information between Si Sales Pro and Si Business Central. All transactions created by Si Sales Pro are uploaded to Si Business Central without having to be attended. Updated customer and pricing information is simultaneously downloaded back to the handheld. Si Mobile Central supports fast, accurate, multiple concurrent upload sessions via all types of communications media.

As the communications portal between Si Sales Pro and Si Business Central, Si Mobile Central manages the flow of information between your administration hub and any handheld in any location including the warehouse, routes or retail store. While Si Sales Pro is running on your handhelds and Si Business Central is handling your main accounting system, Si Mobile Central performs as the communications link between these systems.

Information Automatically Downloaded to the Handheld

The following information is automatically downloaded to the handhelds:

• Customer routing groups including customer names, addresses, phone numbers, contact information, notes, account balances, credit limits, tax status, and purchase order requirements
• Inventory items including product codes, barcodes, descriptions, list, cost and wholesale prices, discounts, environmental charges and tax information
• Stock transfers containing inventory quantities to be loaded to the truck or warehouse
• System configuration including passwords, user IDs, configurations
• New upgrades as they become available

Information Automatically Uploaded to Administration

The following information is automatically uploaded to the administration computer:

• New route sales invoices, credits/returns and amounts received on account
• Inventory counts of on-hand quantities for the warehouse or truck
• Outgoing stock transfers that were created on the handheld
• Settlement of daily handheld sales transactions

 Reporting

• A complete log of all connection results can be viewed or printed. This includes new transactions and new customers.
• Error conditions regarding duplicated or incomplete transactions or customer records are automatically reported and managed.
