How it Works:

1. Merchandizer identifies the rack ID via the barcode scanner on the mobile handheld.
2. Merchandizer then scans all sunglasses on the rack at a rate of up to 60 scans per minute.
3. The scanned items are automatically identified by Eyewear Genetics' Gen-Tag™, which alerts the merchandizer if an item needs to be pulled from the rack or re-priced.
4. Merchandizer saves inventory information and records customer's signature.
5. Information is synchronized into the ERP system where management can track and process the inventory data.

• Mobile Computers: To run Solid Route Accounting™, you may use either Windows Mobile or Palm OS mobile computers, or even mix or match them within your company. At Solid, we have approved the following mobile computers for compatibility with our Solid Route Accounting™ system: industrial grade computers (Janam XM66, Opticon H19), and consumer grade computer (HP IPAQ).
• Mobile Printers: If you wish to print invoices in the field, you will require a mobile printer. At Solid, we strongly recommend the use of an industrial grade printer (Datamax-O'Neil Apex 4, the Datamax-O'Neil 4te or the Datamax-O'Neil 8i), which have been approved for compatibility with our Solid Route Accounting™ system. Solid also approves the consumer grade HP Officejet h470wbt printer, where you are looking for a more economical option.
