How it Works
- Merchandizer identifies the rack ID via the barcode scanner on the mobile handheld.
- Merchandizer then scans all sunglasses on the rack at a rate of up to 60 scans per minute.
- The scanned items are automatically identified by Eyewear Genetics' Gen-Tag™, which alerts the merchandizer if an item needs to be pulled from the rack or re-priced.
- Merchandizer saves inventory information and records customer's signature.
- Information is synchronized into the ERP system where management can track and process the inventory data.

Key Requirements (not included):
- Mobile Computers: An Opticon H19 is required to run Solid Route Accounting™ - Eyewear Genetics at its optimum level of performance.
- Mobile Printers: If you wish to print invoices in the field, you will require a mobile printer. At Solid, we strongly recommend the use of a Datamax-O'Neil 4te printer or Datamax-O'Neil 8i printer, which have been approved for compatibility with our Solid Route Accounting™ system. Solid also approves the HP Officejet h470wbt if you are looking for a more economical option.
