Solid Sales Pro™

Solid Sales Pro™ is a mobile POS (point-of-sale) system designed specifically for route accounting, field sales, showroom order entry, and trade show order entry applications. Operating from mobile PDAs, Solid Sales Pro provides a comprehensive customer ordering, inventory handling, and related mobile functions. Solid Sales Pro can link directly to several different accounting systems, thus extending accounting operations and providing support for various mobile needs. Solid Sales Pro is a proven solution for any distribution business interested in increasing efficiency, reducing costs and promoting sales growth.
Standard Features
Solid Sales Pro has several key features:
- Customer transactions – Sales orders, invoices, pre-sell, delivery confirmation, back orders, and received on account (ROA) are the types of transactions that are easily created. Provisions are made to allow transactions to be created as customer orders, then closed as invoices, with optional back order generation. Once transactions are finalized as invoices or ROA, transactions cannot be changed. Provisions are available to:
- Stop Order Prompting
- Signature Capture with Review / Reprint
- Transaction Printing – Transactions are easily printed and reprinted via wired or Bluetooth connected printers. The format may be on either 8 ½ x 11, 4” or A4.
- Day End / Trip End – Provisions are available to report transaction results and provide for a cash out with bank deposit / reconciliation printing.
- Pricing Rules – Pricing rules are extensive and provided to Solid Sales Pro from the host accounting system. Pricing is normally provided automatically and is set within the host accounting system. Depending upon the capabilities of the office accounting system, provisions are available to:
- % discount by product line and customer group
- Specific selling price and retail price by customer, customer group, route with optional beginning date, optional ending date
- Volume pricing by customer, customer group, and route
- % off invoice by customer
- Route salesperson override – prices and discounting can be overridden by administration
- Barcode Scanning & Product Lookup – Products may be looked up by barcode (ie UPC code), part number, or description.
- Inventory Management – Specialized inventory management rules are included and vary by office accounting system. These include:
Inventory Tracking - Each truck is viewed as a rolling warehouse with full inventory tracking & control.

Operating Limits
- File Limits – Up to 32,000 SKUs with 1,000 of product lines and pricing levels. The practical limit is about 5,000 SKUs with 100’s of pricing scenarios with 100’s of customers.
- Operating System – Mix or match Palm OS 5 or Windows Mobile 6.
