Solid Order Entry™ enables your customers to place orders, at their convenience, via their smartphone. It is convenient, accurate, secure, and very cost-effective. Orders are submitted directly to Solid Route Accounting™ and exported to your ERP system.

Configuration

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Once this feature is enabled, log in to SolidRouteAccounting.com
  2. Navigate to the Settings screen
  3. Under the Company Settings section:
    1. Set the Customer Order Transaction Prefix. This prefix uniquely identifies all orders placed through the Solid Order Entry™ app. The prefix can contain only numbers and letters and can be 1 to 3 long.
    2. For clients with multi-warehouse inventory control enabled, select a warehouse to which incoming orders are assigned.

  4. Under the Email Addresses Settings section, enter the email address that is to be used to notify you of incoming Orders.
  5. Then click on [Save]

Inviting New Customers to Use Solid Order Entry™

  1. Log in to SolidRouteAccounting.com
  2. Navigate to [Mobiles / Order Entry]
  3. Click on [Create New]
  4. On the Order Entry Create - Choose Customer screen, search for and select the desired customer.

  5. On the Order Entry - Create screen, set the desired mobile options.

  6. You can apply an item filter to restrict the products available on the Solid Order Entry™ app. For more details, please see Article #286 How to Filter Items for Solid Sales Pro?
  7. Alternatively, you can use an Approved Product List (APL) to limit the products available on the Solid Order Entry™ app. For more details, please see Article #334 Approved Product Lists (APL)
  8. When ready, click [Save] to preview the email that will be sent to the customer.
  9. If everything looks correct, click on [Send] to invite the customer to use Solid Order Entry™. The email will include instructions on downloading the Solid Order Entry™ app and a link to a getting started video.

Editing Customers

To edit the mobile options or to reset their password proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to SolidRouteAccounting.com
  2. Navigate to [Mobiles / Order Entry]
  3. Select the desired customer
  4. To edit the mobile record, click on [Edit] and make the necessary changes
  5. Click on [Reset Password and Resend Invitation Email] to reset the password.

Deleting Customer

If you wish a customer to no longer use the Solid Order Entry™ app, you can delete the customer from the list.

  1. Log in to SolidRouteAccounting.com
  2. Navigate to [Mobiles / Order Entry]
  3. Select the desired customer
  4. Click on [Delete]

Deleting the mobile record will wipe the Solid Route Accounting™ data from the mobile the next time it syncs.
